Forum Group buyout of Imagetec creates $ 75 million print reseller with 6,000 customers – print

The Australian printing partner managed by HP Forum Group acquired the national printing company Imagetec and in doing so grew its business to around 6,000 customers and set expected revenues at over $ 75 million.

This acquisition represents the latest in a series of acquisitions for Forum since its inception in November 2011. Its other recent acquisitions include Chilliprint in 2014, QBM in June 2013 and Agem Printing in April 2013.

Imagetec provides managed printing solutions and is a reseller of printers, accessories and related products.

Forum Group CEO Bill Papas, who will continue to lead the combined entity, said the acquisition would bring benefits to existing Forum customers and bring new value to Imagetec customers through an expanded product line and Services.

“On this note, I am particularly pleased to announce that Craig Rollinson, CEO of Imagetec, has accepted my offer to become the COO of Forum Group. Craig’s approach to operational excellence, combined with Forum’s proven sales ability, will mean great things to our business going forward, ”he said.

Rollison, as COO, is responsible for bringing the two organizations together from an operational standpoint.

“We have been able to generate significant efficiency gains at Imagetec over the past few years,” said Rollinson. “And I look forward to being able to make even more improvements in this exciting next chapter in Forum history.”

Forum Group, recognized last year as a leader in channel-managed print services by HP, begins integration with Imagetec this week and expects the process to be completed within 12 months.
